Bring a friend, learn essential self-defence skills, and discover the confidence and community that Jiu-Jitsu can build. Why Valkyries Only

 

Valkyries Only is a welcoming, women-centered space where beginners feel comfortable and experienced practitioners can sharpen fundamentals. The focus is practical self-defence, smart positioning, and calm under pressure, all in a supportive environment.

Foundational stance, movement, and frames

Escapes from common holds and grabs

Safe takedown concepts and ground control

Simple, high-percentage submissions and defenses

Awareness, boundary setting, and de-escalation principles

Who Can Join

All women are welcome, from absolute beginners to advanced students. Friends are encouraged to come together.

Comfortable athletic clothing, a water bottle, and an open mind. No gi required for your first class.
